went through the streets of Bologna some time ago and suddenly there was an accordion playing polka to be heard from one of the old houses with arcades. nice, beautiful, unexpected.
and when we went to the Nouvelle Vague concert i didn't take my camera. and i really enjoyed it so much! there were some moments when i just felt like shooting a picture, but i'm really happy i didn't. nice. well and then there are all these great nice people i met in the last weeks, so happy that we could spent some time together! hoping for more. as always :) and also i just keep being picked up by friends in cars when i go through Via Granarolo and it's always a nice short chit-chat occasion. and last weekend i watched Hal Ashby's movie Harold and Maude and it's full of such nice and decent humour. and just this Saturday i realized that the small bushes in one of the streets i pass through from time to time, those bushes, that ain't just some ordinary shrubbery, that's lavender and rosemary bushes! and when i went to the bar, i was sitting there, observing...and i watched the bartenders. from every bottle of wine they opened the always smelled the cork if the wine is ok, and with some of the corks they even went to one another to share the aroma of that particular wine. that was really nice. well and in general i have to admit that everyone here is being really nice to me. that is also nice

sweet! i enjoy your observations a lot :)
ReplyDeleteby the way, i'd also like to recommend some movies - two recent ones by Woody Allen: "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" and "Whatever Works". They both have this sweet-sad feeling, really nice!
and i suppose you saw "Lost in Translation" by Sofia Coppola? Well, there are also "Virgin Suicides" by her - you might also like that one..
wow, thanks, i'll Czech those out! In the moment i'm watching Al di là delle nuvole (Beyond the Clouds) by Antonioni and Wenders...seen part on sunday, part yesterday...it's cool that i have been to some places where it's filmed and the movie is somehow soft, with great feeling for dialogues/monologues - nice, gentle phrases, etc.
ReplyDeleteLike "we always want to live in someone else's imagination"
It's just a phrase, but it's so true!
I wonder how the movie will go on...
Ooooh! that sounds very nice! i'll also czech that one out then :)
