And yet another good weekend!

Even though on Friday afternoon i was still not sure whether i’m really going to the Nouvelle Vague concert in Bologna with the wonderful couple, in the evening after a bit more than a half hour on train with Florence & the Machine and Dub FX in my headphones i just happened to be with them on an aperitivo in a quite small bar ran by a guy who really knows how to please the eyes and taste buds of his customers. Gotta come back there asap.

And the concert was definitely worth going. I mean it was really awesome, full of energy pumped into us especially by the two singing ladies. One - an ethereal soul with a beautiful soft and colourful voice in a long dress, and the other, Nadeah - a tall Australian valkyrie with immense energy, adorable legs and short green dress (making her look both like a “gateau” and a praying mantis) who just knows how to enchant the audience. And then i shouldn’t forget about the reggae singer playing guitar (especially for his version of Sweet Dreams)...and the rest of the band! Simply great. After the concert i managed to get a new CD of Nadeah and could happily walk into the dark streets of Bologna kissed by a Muse.

On Saturday it rained. And that was just so beautiful. Even when i went through Bologna to the train station it was drizzling a bit, but then just when i got home, a true rain came. And it rained for the whole afternoon, and i really didn’t mind spending it in bed, looking out of the wide opened window, listening how the water falls down on the roofs, how the thunder is getting further and closer again, watching movies and translating. And i was just fine.

And Sunday...big cooking plans at first, but all the shops were closed when i went out (and i mean ALL including the big shopping centre behind the highway), so i ended up spending Sunday with Joy Division. Not bad.
